Denise
from Pawtucket, who is an avid feral lover, sent out an
all points e-mail bulletin to her friends whom she thought
might be interested and she immediately had two women who
own barns come forward to take in the homeless ferals.
Denise
coordinated all of the details of when & where the exchange
would take place. On Saturday 2/24/07, at 3pm, two ferals
were given to Dianne of Putnam, CT. Denise, along with her
sister, Terri coordinated getting the other two transported
to Phyllis in New Hampshire. It was a long day for Denise
and Terri with traveling, but they got the job done. They
were so excited about the assignment that they very appropriately
named their transporting service "Ferals To Go!"
Angelcat
Haven would like to give a heartfelt "Thank You"
to Christine, Denise, Terri, Dianne and Phyllis for all
coming together for the sake of four cats. It is because
of your efforts that these cats will now have a chance at
living out their 9 lives with fullness and experience great
barnyard adventures.
We
know that this is just the tip of the iceberg concerning
rescuing ferals. Every town has colonies of them that need
rescuing to stop the multiplication process. The call will
come again for sure to relocate ferals and we would like
to be prepared for that. If you are interested or know someone
who can accommodate a couple of ferals providing them with
shelter, food and water, we would love to hear from you. |
